This is my baby, my 1971 Buick LeSabre that I bought back in 2000 for my daughter, Anne and her son, Evan, to use while she was studying at the University of Oregon.

It only had 47000 miles on it, and was a one owner, a 90+ year old gentleman who gave up the road to a good cause.

When Anne was finished using my battleship, I took it back and drove it down to Mexico where we lived for a few years...happily, and with lots of googles and "awws".

I sold it this past summer to a gentleman from Norway, an American, who crated it up and took it over to Norway to be "a classic" for the rest of it's days. This made me very happy, but very sad as well. I've never owned a car of such elegance before, and I have many good memories in the battleship, but I know it went to a loving home.

It was like steering a cruise ship to drive that baby. Felt just as massive and just as smooth of a ride!
